SAN RAMON, Calif., Oct. 2 -- Solera announced today that American FamilyMutual Insurance Company has selected Audatex, a Solera Company, as itsvehicle direct repair claims management and technology partner. AmericanFamily, the third-largest mutual property and casualty insurer in thenation, has decided to switch to Audatex solutions for its vehicle repairclaims technology, covering more than 2,700 users. The deal represents anexpansion of the current American Family relationship with Solera. It marksthe beginning of a new era of partnership in the industry, with carrierslooking to combine technology, consulting and shared services in oneintegrated offering. It is the fourth agreement Audatex has signed with atop 10 insurance carrier in the U.S. alone since Solera's acquisition ofAudatex.
